Pea and Milk Purée
Ingredients
250g frozen peas
60ml (4tbsp) of baby’s usual milk*

- Handheld blender or food processor

Method
- Boil the peas for five minutes until tender.
- Drain and blend with the milk, using a handheld blender or food processor until smooth. Do not add any salt.
- Pass the pea and milk purée through a sieve to remove the skins.
- Serve warm.
Tip
You could replace the peas in our tasty pea purée for babies with sweetcorn, carrot, swede or soya beans. Adjust the cooking time accordingly. For example, swede and carrots will require 15-20 minutes cooking time. Cool any leftovers and transfer to ice cube trays, then freeze to provide convenient portions for future use.
