Mixed Root Vegetable Purée
Ingredients
1 medium sweet potato or yam (approximately 180g)
1 large parsnip or carrot (approximately 120g)
60ml (4tbsp) of baby’s usual milk*
Utensils
- Saucepan
- Handheld blender or food processor
Allergens
Method
- Wash, peel and dice the sweet potato or yam, carrot or parsnip.
- In a pan of boiling water, cook the chosen vegetables for about 10-15 minutes or until soft. Drain.
- Blend together the vegetables with the milk using a handheld blender or food processor. Do not add any salt.
- Serve warm.
